#10 Evan Bergquist - Forward '00
5-8, 182 lbs. - York Devils 16U AA/Fallston H.S. (co-op)
Bel Air, MD
 

Evan was better than a two-point-per-game scorer for the Fallston High School co-op team this season, recording 15 goals and 2 assists in 8 games. He also was a top offensive threat for the York Devils 16U AA team that plays in the DVHL and EJEPL. Overall for York Evan finished with 17 goals and 15 assists in 43 contests. He was York's second-leading scorer in EJEPL games with 8 goals and 9 assists in 20 contests as the Devils finished third in the league's 16U Diamond Division with a 15-5 record. Evan added 9 goals and 16 assists in 24 DVHL outings as the Devils finished fourth out of 17 teams. Overall York went 38-13-1 and was ranked 54th in the Nation among Tier 2 teams. Evan hopes to continue playing hockey after graduation at the junior level. 

#14 Liam Eden - Forward '00
5-10, 200 lbs. - Washington Little Caps 16U AAA/Archbishop Spalding H.S.

Liam has been an offensive catalyst for Archbishop Spalding, which was the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference runner-up a year ago. He recorded 8 points in 9 MAPHL contests for Spalding this year playing for Team DC head coach Rob Trantin. Liam also was an offensive leader for the Washington Little Caps 16U AAA team that won the PVAHA championship and advanced to the USA Hockey Southeast District Tier 1 Tournament. He recorded 15 goals and 30 assists for 45 points in 60 contests for the Little Caps, including 17 points in 19 AYHL contests and 9 points in 20 NAPHL outings. Liam scored the NAPL Silver Division championship-winning goal in overtime. His favorite NHL player is Nicklas Backstrom because of his "vision, unmatched passing ability and awesome hair." Liam likes to emulate Brandon Saad, because he "uses his size, seped and skill to create scoring opportunities." He plans on playing 18U AAA hockey and for Archbishop Spalding next year.

#15 Brener Granston - Forward '00
5-9, 150 lbs. - Tri-CIty Eagles 16U AA/Blair H.S. (co-op)
Kensington, MD

Brener was the leading scorer for Montgomery Blair High School this year with 16 goals and 9 assists, including 3 PPG and 2 SHG in 13 games. His 25 points ranked fifth in Montgomery Division I of the Maryland Student Hockey League. Brener's 16 goals ranked third in the division. In 46 career high school games he has scored at nearly a two-points-per-game rate with 43 goals and 31 assists for 74 points. Brener also was the top offensive threat for his Tri-City 16U AA team, averaging better than a point a game to help lead the Eagles to an 8-8-1 CBHL record and a fifth-place finish. He recorded a hat trick vs. Southern Maryland on Oct. 29. 

#2 Tiger Bjornlund - Defense '00
5-9, 145 lbs. - Montgomery Blue Devils 16U AA/Whitman H.S.

Club - Assistant captain

Tiger served as co-captain for Whitman High School, helping lead the team to the Maryland state high school hockey semifinals. He also was assistant captain for the Montgomery Blue Devils 16U AA team, which was runner-up in the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League (CBHL), winner of the Maryland Tier 2 championship and participated in USA Hockey Tier 2 Nationals. For Whitman Tiger was second on the team in scoring with 26 points (12 goals and 14 assists) in 17 games and led the team in plus/minus. He scored the tying goal in Whitman’s comeback regular-season tie of eventual state champion Churchill and scored several key goals in the state playoffs. Tiger finished third in scoring among Montgomery County defensemen and was named second-team all-county. For his Montgomery AA club team, Tiger scored 32 points (14 goals and 18 assists) in 35 games. In addition to serving as a top-paring defenseman and quarterbacking the power play, he scored shootout goals in both the CBHL and state playoffs, helping the team to advance. Tiger led both teams in scoring by defensemen. After one more year of high school and club hockey, Tiger hopes to continue playing hockey at the junior and college levels.

#4 Wyatt Hinkson - Defense '00
5-6, 165 lbs. - Team Maryland 16U AAA/DeMatha H.S.
Upper Marlboro, MD

Wyatt is a gritty defenseman who contributes at both ends of the ice. He was a key member of DeMatha High School team that captured the WCAC championship and advanced to the MAPHL semifinals. Wyatt contributed 2 goals and 10 assists in 36 contests for the Stags. He scored a goal in the season opener against Broadneck and then contributed a key assist in the WCAC championship game. Wyatt also was part of a strong defensive corps on a very good Team Maryland 16U AAA club that won the ECEL regular-season title. In 36 games at the AAA level he contributed 6 goals and 5 assists. Of those 11 points, 2 goals and 1 assist came in 21 AYHL contests and 1 goal and 3 assists were in ECEL games. Wyatt hopes to continue his hockey career at the AAA and/or junior level and is keeping his options open at this time.
