#22 Peter Haas - Forward '00

Peter was a valuable player up and down the lineup and in various situations for Team DC last year. He is willing and able to play the grinder role, kill penalties and go to the hard areas, but also can play up in the lineup or create for teammates by doing the dirty work in front of the net. A versatile player who saw time at defense and forward for his Hampton Roads Whalers junior team, Peter uses his big frame to cause havoc in front of the net ad has a good shot. Even with his long reach, he is good possessing the puck in tight and is hard to knock off the puck. In four games for Team DC a year ago, Peter recorded a goal and an assist. Peter moved from Northern Virginia to the Virginia Beach area after last year's showcase. Playing for Forest Park/Hylton co-op last year, he earned All-CSHL honors with two goals and six assists in five games. He had two goals and eight assists in 44 regular-season games for Hampton Roads this year then added two goals in six postseason games. Peter will continue his junior hockey career next year and hopes to play collegiately someday.

#4 Christian Halbig - Defense '01

Christian is a smooth-skating defenseman who makes smart plays and excels at moving the puck out of the defensive zone. While he plays more of a stay-at-home style, he has the skill and instincts to contribute offensively and does a good job keeping pucks in the zone and getting pucks to the net. This year he upped his offensive contribution considerably for both his school and AAA teams, recording 15 goals and 17 assists in 25 games for DeMatha High School to go along with six goals and eight assists in 24 AYHL games for Team Maryland 18U AAA. He picks and chooses his times to get involved offensively, but when he does it's usually the right decision. Was part of a strong defensive corps for a DeMatha High School team that captured its third straight WCAC title and advanced to the MAPHL championship game. For his efforts he was named first-team All-Met by The Washington Post, first-team All-MAPHL and first-team All-WCAC. He also was an AYHL all-star. Christian had seven points in a combined 30 ECEL and AYHL games a year ago for Team Maryland 18U AAA. For DeMatha as a junior he finished with three goals and 11 assists in 36 contests. Christian plans on playing playing a couple years of junior hockey and then hopefully NCAA college hockey. He hopes to study sports medicine in college. Last year in St. Louis he recorded a goal and two assists in four games.

#2 Brian Kerrigan - Defense '00
5-11, 185 lbs. - Potomac Patriots USPHL Premier/Kettle Run H.S. 
Warrenton, VA

Brian is a swift skating, puck mover on the blue line who can carry the puck and join the rush while having the speed to get back and handle his defensive responsibilities. He is capable of playing in all situations after spending this season playing as a top-paring defenseman for the Potomac Patriots USPHL Premier team. Brian also played for Kettle Run High School in the NVSHL, recording eight goals and 10 assists in six games. For the Patriots Brian contributed 14 assists in 43 games. He had seven goals and six assists for Potomac in 44 USPHL Elite games the previous season, while for Kettle Run he contributed eight goals and four assists in 12 contests. He is hoping to pursue junior hockey at the Tier 2 level next year and has committed to King's College NCAA Division III program for the fall of 2020.

#21 Jack Massey - Forward '00
6-0, 175 lbs. - Team Maryland 18U AA/Gonzaga College High School
Great Falls, VA

Jack is an extremely smart player away from the puck who keeps his feet moving and finds seams in the defense that allow his teammates to get hi the puck in quality scoring areas. He also plays with a high level of skill and has improved his speed after a year playing for Team Maryland at the 18U AAA level. Jack competes and moves his feet in all three zones and is capable of playing on any line in any situation. In addition to his playmaking ability, he is able to finish. Jack was a key depth forward for the MAPHL-champion and top-ranked Gonzaga College High School team as a junior, scoring three points in MAPHL games, but he stepped up and became a key offensive weapon as a senior. Jack finished the regular season second on the team in scoring with six goals and eight assists in 10 MAPHL contests and was great in the postseason in helping lead the Eagles to their third straight MAPHL title. He scored both goals in a 2-1 semifinal win over Landon and followed that up by setting up multiple goals in a 5-1 title-game win against Spalding. For Team Maryland, Jack was credited with credited with nine points in 24 AYHL contests. He was a top offensive producer for his Reston Raiders 18U AA club team the previous season, notching 39 goals and 21 assists in 34 games. Jack is planning on pursuing junior hockey in hopes of one day playing for an NCAA program. He  would like to study finance in college. He appeared in all four showcase games a year ago.

#18 Daniel Pimenov - Forward '00
5-9, 170 lbs. - Junior Flyers 18U AAA
Bethesda, MD
Hockey Awards & Honors:
School - 1st Team Al-Montgomery County 2018

Daniel is a strong skater who plays a very creative and high-skill game. Has the speed and hands to take on defenders one-on-one, but also has good vision and the willingness and ability to create scoring chances for his teammates. Always seems to be around the puck, can score and create and is able to play and create at a higher speed after a year at the AAA level playing for the Jr. Flyers. Daniel had a goal and two assists in 33 contests for the Jr. Flyers before suffering an injury and returning home. He scored 20 points on 11 goals and nine assists in 13 games for Walter Johnson High School the previous year to earn first-team All-Montgomery County honors. Daniel recorded seven goals and seven assists in 19 league games to help lead his Montgomery Blue Devils 16U AA team to the EJEPL semifinals that season. He plans on playing junior hockey next year and would like to play NCAA hockey beyond that. In four showcase games for Team DC last year Daniel had two goals.

#15 Erick Reiniger - Forward '01
5-11, 165 lbs. - DeMatha Catholic High School

Erick is a talented, shifty forward who can score. He has a very hard and accurate shot and finds ways to set himself to get the shot off even in high-traffic areas. He also is a smooth skater with good skill and an ability to see the ice. His shot and vision allow him to draw defenders and set up teammates for quality scoring chances. Erick has worked hard to become a 200-foot player this year and is dependable in all three zones and in any game situation. He also doesn't shy away from physical play and plays bigger than he is at times. Erick was team captain for the WCAC-champion and MAPHL regular-season-champion DeMatha Stags, leading the team in scoring each of the last two years. He notched 24 goals and 19 assists for 43 points in 39 games as a junior to go along with 24 goals and 23 assists in 34 contests this season. For his efforts this year Erick was name first-team All-Met by The Washington Post, first-team All-MAPHL and first-team All-WCAC. He also received the DeMatha Brent Caldwell Award for leadership and integrity on and off the ice. Erick will consider all hockey options for next year and is planning on playing for a junior team or college hockey at the ACHA level. He had a goal and two assists in four games for Team DC a year ago.

#12 Alex Simuro - Forward '01

Alex is a playmaker with a very high hockey IQ who always plays with his head up and makes his linemates better. He has tremendous vision on the ice and makes smart, creative plays at speed. A strong skater with good skill, he makes precise passes and has a knack for setting up teammates, but also can finish. He keeps his feet moving and competes in all three zones. A three-time captain for Bishop Ireton High School and captain of his Nova Ice Dogs 18U AA team, Alex is a tremendous athlete who has earned all sorts of awards in multiple sports during his high school career. He also is a solid student, having earned all-academic honors three times. This year for Bishop Ireton he had 13 goals and four assists in 15 games while playing mostly defense because of injuries to other players. That earned him team MVP, All-WCAC and 3rd-team All-CSHL honors. Alex totaled eight goals and nine assists for 17 points in 13 high school games for Bishop Ireton as a junior. For his Nova Ice Dogs 16U AA club team he was an offensive leader, notching 16 goals and 30 assists for 46 points in 50 contests a year ago. Alex also was an NVSHL All-Star in 2017 and is a two-time honorable mention All-WCAC soccer player. He is a member of the National Honor Society and hopes to continue playing competitive hockey at the junior and college level as long as possible.

#6 Jack Stanley - Defense '01

Jack is an extremely smart, puck-moving defenseman who can kickstart the offense with a pinpoint pass out of the defensive zone. He possesses tremendous vision and makes tough plays look easy. Jack also has good size and uses his reach and ability to read angles to his advantage against faster players. He is very sound positionally and rarely gets beaten. He makes good reads offensively and creates scoring opportunities by getting pucks to the net and finding open teammates despite rarely taking chances. Jack led Washington-Lee High School to the CSHL championship this year with two goals and nine assists after leading the team in scoring with 13 goals and 12 assists in 12 games from the blue line to earn CSHL Player of the Year and first-team Washington Post All-Met honors in 2017-18. An excellent student, Jack also was named to the CSHL All-Academic team twice. He had nine goals and 27 assists in 46 games as a co-captain for his Nova 16U AA club team last year. Jack is undecided about his hockey future, but hopes to continue playing. He plans on studying political science in college.

#5 Anthony '"Jordan" Adams - Defense '01
5-9, 170 lbs. - Potomac Patriots USPHL Elite/Charles County Co-op
Pomfret, MD

Anthony is a sturdy defenseman who is very sound positionally in the defensive zone and can be tough on players in the corners and in front of the net. He is not afraid to block a shot, take a hit or give a hit to help the team. Anthony shoots the puck well and has good vision moving the puck in all three zones. He has a high compete level whether it's a practice or a game. During his youth hockey career, Anthony won two championships with the Southern Maryland Sabre, at the Squirt and Bantam levels. Anthony played USPHL 16U HP for the Potomac Patriots and then went to on play juniors at the USPHL Elite level for the Patriots the following year. Making appearances in 43 games, he recorded two goals, four assists and more than 70 blocked shots for Potomac, ranking among the team's top 10 scorers. Playing for the Charles County Co-op team in the MSHL, Anthony recorded three goals and four assists, good for third on the team. He has received offers from EHL teams and is exploring his options in hopes of playing NCAA hockey at some point in the future.

#30 Ty Morton - Goalie '01
5-10, 180 lbs. - Montgomery Blue Devils 18U AA/Landon School
Germantown, MD

Ty is a quick and agile goalie with the knack for making the big save at the right time. He is a battler known for keeping his teams in games. Ty has a quick glove hand and moves well up and down and laterally. A three-year starter at one of the DC-area's strongest prep hockey programs, he twice led his team to the MAPHL semifnals and this season was outstanding in an upset of top-seeded and top-ranked DeMatha. He was a bright spot during a difficult season for his Montgomery Blue Devils 18U AA club team where he regularly faced over 50 shots a game. Ty also volunteers his time with the Montgomery Cheetahs hockey program for kids with special needs where he serves as a mentor and a coach for goalies. He is looking forward to the opportunity to join the junior ranks next year and beyond before he heads to college. He wants to study sports management or business in college after playing juniors.

#17 Trevor Reece - Forward '01

Trevor has good speed and plays all 200-feet of the ice with a high compete level. He's not afraid to go to the dirty areas and is strong on both the forecheck and backcheck with a nose for the puck and the net. A former defenseman, he has a high hockey IQ and understands the team's needs in all three zones. Trevor doesn't shy away from physical play and can play on various lines and in many situations. A MSHL All-Conference selection playing for the Chesapeake Lightning in high school, he finished with a team-best 16 points on 12 goals and four assists in eight games. Trevor also played for the Potomac Patriots USPHL Elite junior team, notching six goals and 12 assists while playing in all special teams situations. He hopes to play another year of junior hockey at the highest level he can before hopefully playing in college and earning a degree in accounting.

#11 Trevor Younkins - Forward '01
5-9, 165 lbs. - Team Maryland 18U AAA/River Hill HS

Hockey Awards & Honors:
School -  Howard County All-Star, Team Captain 2018-19, Assistant Captain 2018

An alternate on Team DC last year, Trevor is a solid two-way forward who is extremely versatile and can play almost anywhere in the lineup. He uses his deceptive speed to beat the defense wide and shows great patience and strong puck possession skills in the offensive zone. He also has played defense at the AAA level and is an effective penalty killer. Trevor does a good job keeping his feet moving and fighting through checks and uses those qualities to set up scoring opportunities for teammates. He has a very strong worth ethic and desire to improve and gets better on a daily basis. Trevor served as team captain for River Hill HS and finished with 16 goals in seven games to rank third in his county in goals. He also played for Team Maryland's 18U AAA team, playing both forward and defense and finishing with two goals and seven assists in 23 AYHL contests. Trevor hopes to play junior hockey at the highest level he can and then hopefully ACHA or NCAA college hockey.
