Tryout registration for Team DMV, a high-school showcase team which is made up of the some of the top prep hockey players in the area and competes annually in America’s Showcase St. Louis, is officially open.
The link to register, as well as all pertinent information about the team, can be found by CLICKING HERE. America’s Showcase St. Louis was founded in 1985 and is held each April in hopes of providing the nation’s premier high school players with an opportunity to be scouted by high-level junior and college programs. The event features all-star teams representing more than 20 states and geographic regions and is intended for high school juniors and seniors who hope to continue their hockey careers beyond school and club hockey. This year’s showcase is scheduled for April 16-20 at the brand new Centene Community Ice Center, the practice home of the Stanley Cup-champion St. Louis Blues. There are five scheduled tryouts as the Team DMV staff is aware that there are still hockey and spring-sport conflicts and that not everyone can make every tryout. The more tryouts you can attend, the more opportunities team evaluators will get to see you; but everyone who attends a tryout will be considered for the team. We DO NOT pro-rate the cost for players who can't make all five tryouts.
Team DMV used to be known as Team DC. For historical information about the team and to get an idea of what the program is all about, please CLICK HERE.
